Applications for Affordable Homeownership Opportunity
Town of Harwich
Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod announces that applications are available beginning September 10 for four 3-bedroom homes and three 2-bedroom homes to be built on Oak Street just off Long Pond Road in Harwich. The application deadline is November 10, 2014
Qualifications: housing need, sweat equity, first time homebuyer (some exceptions apply), ability to pay monthly mortgage. Maximum household gross income is 60% of area median income for family size for 5 homes and 65% for 2 homes. Example: 65% = $51,919. 60% = $47,925 for a 4-person household.
The estimated monthly housing payment (mortgage, taxes, & insurance) is estimated to be around $625-$775/month.

Applicants are urged to attend one of two information workshops:
Wednesday, September 24, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 27, 10:30 a.m. – 12 noon.
