Roll The Rock 2014: A Rollicking Success

April 02 2014

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Roll The Rock 2014: A Rollicking Success
Cape Cod Charitable FunRaisers and Ryan Family Amusements are pleased to announce the results of the  Roll the Rock fundraising event, held last Friday, March 27. 40 teams competed in this year's bowling tournament.

This year, we raised $50,814.81 (a preliminary figure: official results will be released April 10) for CCCF's eight beneficiaries. 100% of the funds raised by each team were directed to the beneficiary of the team's choice. This year's CCCF beneficiaries are The Cape and Islands United Way, Cape Cod Young Professionals, Champ Homes, Hope Hospice of Cape Cod, Kiwanis of Hyannis and Sandwich, Lyme Awareness of Cape Cod, Silent Spring Institute, and Spaulding Rehabilitation of Cape Cod.

The runaway winners of the tournament were the Champ Homes Bowlers with a total of 21,784 points. Their snazzy medieval themed outfits also snagged the Best Dressed award of the night. Second place went to the lovely Belles of the Bowl, and third to the glowing Spaulding of Cape Cod Nurses Rock.
Scores are determined by combining the total dollars each team raised with the number of pins knocked down at the event. Click here to see photos from our 2014 Roll the Rock!

We are now gearing up for our next event, the best cycling event on the Cape: the Last Gasp. A glorious 62 mile bike ride across Cape Cod, taking place this year on Sunday, September 14. Our SUMMERFEST (formerly known as the Last Gasp/Cape Cod Beer Bash) is the kickoff to the event, and promises to be a fun-filled evening on Friday, June 27 at Cape Cod Beer.

Our Mission:
"To create, organize and execute special events for the benefit
of other 501-c-3 non-profit organizations."

At Cape Cod Charitable Funraisers, people often ask why our events are so successful. We believe there are two reasons: we try to create events that are a little different from the mainstream, and probably more importantly, we utilize the concept of empowerment. In each of our events, we offer you choice and a guarantee.
Whether you're a sponsor, team, or individual participant, we ask that you choose from a roster of the participating beneficiaries, and we guarantee that 100% of the money you raise or donate will be given to the charity of your choice. That combination of choice and guarantee is the bedrock of our organization.
