Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands Teams Up with Cape Cod Young Professionals & Pelham House Resort to Launch “Erase the Wait” Campaign at CCYP’s March After Hours Connect

March 2nd Event Seeks to Engage the Community and Clear Waitlist for Youth Mentors

Cape Cod: With over 72 youth currently waiting for a mentor, and more being referred every day, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands (BBBSCCI) is partnering with Cape Cod Young Professionals (CCYP) and Pelham House Resort to launch their “Erase the Wait Campaign” at CCYP’s March After Hours Connect.

Join BBBSCCI and CCYP as we team up on March 2nd from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. to host a fun evening of connecting the Cape community in Pelham House Resort’s “Apres Sea” lounge, including complimentary appetizers, a mini curling court, outdoor fire pits, music from Cape Country 104, a cash bar, and lots of local giveaways! Plus, help Erase the Wait for kids who are seeking a mentor through BBBS!

Thank you to our generous host, Pelham House Resort, and to our Lead Sponsor, Mid-Cape Home Centers.

“Our partnership with CCYP over the past 5 years has been instrumental to engaging volunteers as mentors,” said JR Mell, Regional Director for BBBSCCI. “Challenging ourselves, and our community, to recruit 72 new volunteers during the month of March is no small undertaking and we couldn’t do it without partners like CCYP and Pelham House who amplify this need.”

“Our annual March After Hours Connect, hosted in partnership with BBBSCCI, is an event that connects our vibrant Cape community while also elevating the importance of giving back and mentoring our youngest Cape Codders, who are the future of our region,” said Kristen Vose Clothier, CEO of CCYP.

Space is limited and this event is expected to sell out; advance registration is strongly encouraged.
