To kick us off, describe your business and the niche it's filling within the Cape business community.

The Natural Nail Studio offers a new kind of nail experience. We are the first clean beauty salon in the area. We offer a mindful approach to nail care by using only products that are free of harsh toxins, making the experience safe for the entire family, including men, women, children, women who are pregnant or are nursing, and cancer patients as well.

Many Cape business-owners are passionate about keeping their businesses local, despite the challenges of existing within such a seasonal economic environment. What do you find special (or challenging!) about being an entrepreneur on Cape Cod? Why are you choosing to start your business here rather than anywhere else?

I chose this area not only because it is close to my home in Sandwich, but because it is so centrally located and easy to get to from Plymouth, Bourne, Sagamore, Sandwich, Buzzards Bay, and Mashpee. Additionally, it is easy access to the highway from commuters coming on and off the Cape. I can almost see the bridge from my studio, and I love that!

What is the most valuable thing you are taking away from the EforAll Cape Cod Business Accelerator?

That is way too hard to answer!!!! The entire experience was epic in every way! The knowledge that was given, the confidence that was instilled in me, and the camaraderie with the cohort that was made, was priceless!! I will forever be grateful for this program!!

Why do you think it's important for residents + local community decision-makers to support small businesses and entrepreneurs on Cape?

Because we are the heart and the future!

And lastly, what are you working on now that the CCYP community should be on the lookout for?

I am working on having our very own cuticle oil pens available for retail which are organic, vegan and cruelty-free! 🌱
