Welcome to your Weekly Dose of Community!

We're back with your Weekly Dose of Community! Despite navigating the new normal of a global pandemic, our community is continuously showing up for one another and demonstrating the strength of resilience, optimism, and togetherness. We are lucky to have so many creative and adaptable businesses, organizations, and individuals on Cape Cod and, by leaning into one another for support, our community connections are only strengthening.

Can you share a basic overview of the program or support you’ve set up in the wake of the COVID-19 public health crisis?

Power Yoga Of Cape Cod and Power Yoga Of Cape Cod Dennis Port wanted to provide yoga, meditation and inspiration to the community while people are staying at home in efforts to stop the spread of the coronavirus through social distancing. We have set up a free online platform for everyone to practice yoga and meditation at home during this time.

What was your goal when initiating this program?

Our goal was to offer yoga and meditation for people to keep practicing, especially during this time of social distancing, when people can feel anxious, disconnected and isolated. We wanted to provide videos and content that would encourage them to stay physically active, present, grounded and connected.

What sort of response are you seeing? How has the community responded?

The community has responded with incredible gratitude! They have been sending emails and messages from around the world to let us know that they love the videos and have found the practices to be extremely helpful!
