Career Connect Scholarship

The Cape Cod Young Professionals (CCYP) Career Connect Scholarship was founded in partnership with the Cape Cod Foundation in 2012 as a way to increase career development opportunity for young working age adults on Cape Cod. The scholarship provides a boost to local workers seeking to sustain their lives and careers on Cape Cod year-round. Applicants from all industries and geographic locations within Cape Cod are welcome to apply.

As of 2019, the CCYP Career Connect Scholarship has awarded $99,668 worth of funding to 38 local recipients to return to school, train in a new profession, or to take a course to develop their professional life on Cape Cod.

Requirements

The CCYP Career Connect Scholarship, a fund of the Cape Cod Foundation, is for adults (ages 21+) to return to school, train in a new profession, or to take courses to develop their professional life on Cape Cod. Uses for this scholarship include, but are not limited to: tuition for college-level instruction (undergraduate or graduate), certification or advanced training programs, or professional leadership courses. Applicants may attend either full- or part-time and must have resided on Cape Cod (Barnstable County) for the past three consecutive years. Past recipients, CCYP Board members, and CCYP staff (as well as their immediate family members) are not eligible for this scholarship.
