What is Back to Business Bash: Passport to the Cape Edition?
Back to Business Bash: Passport to the Cape Edition is our new, "reimagined" version of the annual CCYP event we all know and love! This month-long celebration of all things Bash will be a fun and safe way to carry on the spirit of CCYP's signature event, while also supporting our local business community and sustaining the important year-round work of CCYP.
Thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, Cape Cod 5, for their ongoing support of CCYP and the Back to Business Bash!
How Does it Work?
- Purchase your ticket - a.k.a. the "Bash Pass" - to get in on the fun! Note: Pass sales have now ended as of September 1.
- The passport-style Bash Pass gains you special freebies and giveaways from our awesome Bash vendors, similar to what you would receive at an in-person Back to Business Bash event (think: a tuna martini from Scargo Cafe, or margherita pizza from Pizza Barbone).
- Redeem your Bash Pass offers any time during the month of September, just as you would redeem a coupon.
- Offers do not require a minimum purchase and are "no strings attached." Just show your Bash Pass to redeem.
- Bash Passes will be mailed directly to pass-holders throughout the month of August. Please note: the earlier you purchase your pass, the earlier it will be mailed out, allowing you maximum time to redeem your offers in September!
How Much Does it Cost?
Your Bash Pass includes $100+ worth of freebies and giveaways - no strings attached - at local restaurants and other locations, making it an amazing value!
Plus, you can feel good about what your Bash Pass purchase supports. For each Bash Pass sold, you are helping to sustain the year-round work of Cape Cod Young Professionals (CCYP) - a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization offering programs and resources that foster community connection, civic engagement, and career advancement among young working-age adults on Cape Cod.
Why Passport to the Cape Edition?
Our team at CCYP - like many across the Cape - looks forward to the Back to Business Bash every year.
However, in light of the public health concerns presented by COVID-19, CCYP's Bash Committee, Board of Directors, and Staff simply could not envision a responsible way to gather a group of 800-900 people for an in-person event this year.
Our all-volunteer Bash Planning Committee has been hard at work for months to develop a way to continue the spirit of the long-running Back to Business Bash event and support our local economy during a time of great need - all while providing for physical distancing opportunities to ensure the safety of all involved.
The Back to Business Bash: Passport to the Cape Edition ticks all of these boxes, and is the result of many brainstorming sessions and a whole lot of volunteer hustle. We can't thank our committee members enough for their hard work to bring this creative and fun concept to life!
What About Health + Safety Concerns?
CCYP takes the health and safety of our friends and colleagues during the COVID-19 pandemic seriously, which is why our team has worked so hard to develop this new and redesigned version of the Bash. Back to Business Bash: Passport to the Cape Edition allows for participants to safely visit local restaurants and other businesses that are operating under the current phase of reopening in our state.
We encourage Bass Pass-holders to engage in good public health practices, including:
- Wearing a mask or face covering when visiting participating Bash vendor locations;
- Practicing social distancing, staying at least 6 feet apart from others outside your immediate family or quarantine group;
- If preferred, get your items to go and consume off-site;
- If you are uncomfortable in a location, or unable to maintain a comfortable distance, leave the premises and return at another time;
- BE KIND! Our restaurant and small business community need our kindness and support, now more than ever. Please be kind and gracious to staff, and consider purchasing a full meal, gift cards, or finding other ways to support our participating vendors.
