Steph Seat Post Cape Cod Bike Fit

To kick us off, describe your business.

Cape Cod Bike Fit combines the knowledge of a physical therapist with the skills of a certified bike fitter to achieve optimal positioning on the bike. Regardless of what type of bike you ride, proper positioning will maximize safety, comfort and performance.

Many entrepreneurs kick start their ideas because they see a void within their community. What need do you feel your business is fulfilling in the Cape community?

The Cape has a great cycling community. Riding a bicycle is a very repetitive activity which is why it is so important to have appropriate positioning on the bike. True bike fitting is evaluating a cyclist and making changes to their bike to accommodate their individual needs. Utilizing the skills of a physical therapist to achieve the right positioning will encourage a healthy and active lifestyle in Cape residents.

What is the most valuable thing you are taking away from the EforAll Business Accelerator?

EforAll has helped me develop a diverse network on the Cape and has also provided me with business mentors. The support and guidance I have received has definitely helped me launch my business.

At CCYP, one of our strategic priorities is to promote Cape Cod as a vibrant place for young people to live and work, year-round. What would you tell other entrepreneurs thinking about starting their businesses on Cape?

Find your passion, follow it and talk to as many people as you can about it. The Cape is a very small and connected community, you never know where your connections will take you.

And lastly, what are you working on now that the CCYP community should be on the lookout for?

Cape Cod Bike Fit is ramping up for a very exciting Spring! Stay tuned for upcoming events posted on our Facebook page facebook.com/capecodbikefit or our website capecodbikefit.com. To be added to our mailing list for newsletters and events, email capecodbikefit@gmail.com.
