2017 House Design Contest

In the Fall of 2017, CCYP - in partnership with Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS - introduced a creative new effort to expand housing options for young professionals on Cape Cod: the CCYP House Design Contest. The contest aimed to showcase the work of area architects and designers while providing affordable and attractive housing designs for year-round residents living and working on Cape Cod. Designers were asked to submit new prototypes for housing that was desirable for residential buyers or builders, in keeping with the unique village character of our region and, most importantly, attainable in price for young professionals and families living on the Cape. The winning designs were intended to be 'shovel-ready' projects that could be used by builders & developers, real estate agents, potential homeowners, and the larger Cape community.
