9.21.23 Back to Business Bash

The 17th Annual Back to Business Bash was an incredible evening of celebrating and connecting our Cape Cod community!

Thank you to all those who joined us on September 21st at Cape Cod Gateway Airport, including the 25 Cape Cod breweries, restaurants, and local food and beverage purveyors who generously contributed their signature drinks & dishes and the 10 local musicians, entertainers, and radio stations who energized the Bash with their creative talents! I want to give a big shout-out to CCYP’s Back to Business Bash Committee (Bob Begin, Maddie Franzreb, Maria Grotz, Sarah Lapsley Martin, Michelle Mahoney, Magda Moran, and Crystal Pieschel) for all the time, expertise, and enthusiasm this dedicated team invested in planning the 2023 Bash over the past many months!

Thanks also to the terrific additional 20+ volunteers who helped out on the day of the Bash; we couldn't have pulled this event off successfully without you!

Many thanks to the Cape Cod Gateway Airport team, including Katie Servis, Sue Kennedy, and Matt Elia, for hosting the Back to Business Bash and partnering with CCYP to successfully implement this large-scale event!

Thank you to CCYP's Programming & Marketing Coordinator, Jesse Collins-Peck, for doing an outstanding job of coordinating so many aspects of the Bash - from volunteers to signage to permitting - and to our event planning consultant, Kellie Farrar of Cape Life Consulting, for diving right into Bash planning/logistics and supporting successful event implementation in a myriad of ways. Thanks also to Matt O'Keefe of Boardwalk Business Group for providing administrative support to CCYP on the day of the Bash and to Audrey Farrar for her event execution assistance!

Between our Bash Committee members, Bash volunteers, Board of Directors, staff, and consultants, I couldn't ask for a more dedicated, professional, and collaborative team!

I can’t thank our community partners and sponsors enough for their investment in strengthening our Cape Cod community through the annual Back to Business Bash. They go above-and-beyond each year in teaming up with CCYP to create a fun, engaging, and unique experience for all Bash attendees!

An extra shout-out to our 2023 Back to Business Bash Presenting Sponsor, Cape Cod 5, for your tremendous support for and contributions to this year's event - from serving on the Bash Committee (thank you Michelle!) to arranging for a 360 photo booth to donating the reusable Bash branded bags for swag. Thank you!

I also want to personally thank all of you who participated in the 2023 Bash Wine Pull and/or Give & Grab. All proceeds from the Wine Pull support CCYP's Career Connect Scholarship Fund & all proceeds from the Give & Grab support CCYP's mission and programs overall. Your donations will allow CCYP to award two additional CCYP Career Connect Scholarships in 2024 and gave CCYP's Fall 2023 programming a boost!

Thank you to all of our Community Partners who generously donated local giveaways and bottles of wine to these 2023 Bash fundraisers, with an extra shout-out to Agway of Cape Cod for generously providing a beautiful maple tree for hanging the Give & Grab tags and donating both the tree and a basket filled with gardening giveaways as prizes! A shout-out also to CCYP Board Member Sarah Nitsch for all her work in organizing the Give & Grab!

CCYP’s year-round programs, including the annual Back to Business Bash, would not be possible without our dedicated volunteers, community partners, and sponsors. It is truly a community that comes together to make this event a success!
