Back to Business Bash Steering Committee
This committee organizes CCYP's biggest signature event, the Back to Business Bash held annually in September. The Bash attracts over 900 attendees and showcases local businesses, requiring a tremendous volunteer effort. The Bash Committee meets monthly January through August and then weekly in September.
The Bach to Business Bash Steering Committee is a great fit for volunteers who:
- Want to build connections with community members and make new professional contacts
- Have skills to contribute in marketing, event organizing, graphic design, or volunteer management
- Love the Back to Business Bash event and want to help it succeed

Connect Events Committee
CCYP’s Connect Events Committee plans and oversees regular Connect events with the goal of fostering meaningful connections among our membership and beyond. This group meets the last Tuesday morning of the month.
The Connect Events Committee is right for volunteers who:
- Want to build connections with community members and make new professional contacts
- Have skills to contribute in marketing, event organizing, graphic design, or volunteer management
- Want to help foster new connections and engage young people living and working on Cape Cod

Public Policy Committee
The Public Policy Committee helps guide CCYP’s advocacy, education, and civic engagement work on issues of importance to young people under 45 living and working on Cape Cod.
The Public Policy Committee is seeking volunteers who:
- Are passionate about inspiring positive change on Cape Cod
- Want to learn about, or get more involved in, local policy- and decision-making processes
- Can share expertise in the areas of grassroots organizing and/or policy development
- Want to advocate for housing, child care, economic development, and other opportunities that positively impact quality of life for young people living and working on Cape Cod

Shape Your Cape Summit Steering Committee
The Shape Your Cape Summit Steering Committee plans and oversees all aspects of CCYP’s annual one-day conference for young professionals, the Shape Your Cape Summit. Held in April of each year, this conference is planned by young professionals for young professionals. The event is designed to further community conversation on current “hot topics,” and raise awareness of emerging issues of interest for young people living and working on Cape Cod.

The Governance Committee is appointed by the Board of Directors to 1) facilitate annual review of the CCYP Bylaws; 2) advise in the development of internal policies; and 3) ensure maintenance of board governance best practices.
The Governance Committee is looking for volunteers who:
- Have specialized knowledge of board governance best practices
- Are interested in learning more about board development and board service
- Want to support CCYP's long-term growth and organizational health

Career Connect Scholarship Committee
CCYP's Career Connect Scholarship offers a unique career development tool for young professionals across the Cape, with the goal of ensuring a more skilled and educated workforce on Cape Cod. The Career Connect Scholarship Committee reviews annual scholarship applications, and helps track long-term outcomes and success of scholarship recipients.

Giving Circle Steering Committee
CCYP Giving Circle donors are visionaries; they know that a small investment in positive change now means a more vibrant Cape Cod community in the future. Funds from the Giving Circle are used to provide project and program grants for organizations working on issues of concern to young Cape Cod residents. Contributors to the Giving Circle are eligible to participate in the Giving Circle Steering Committee, which determines funding priorities for the year, reviews grant applications, and works to grow Giving Circle contributions over time.
