Supporting Cape Cod's young workers with families

According to our 2018 Community Needs Survey, 23% of survey respondents identified child care affordability and attainability one of the top needs to live and work on Cape Cod successfully. As a topic of much discussion across the Cape, CCYP is dedicated to being a voice in the efforts to bring more affordable options for young families who choose to build their family's personal and professional lives on Cape Cod. Cape Cod Children's Place, Inc.

Cape Cod Children's Place is a non-profit resource, referral, and education center on the Lower Cape providing high-quality care, support, and advocacy for young families in order to sustain a healthy community for the Cape's next generation.

Cape Cod Child Development

Cape Cod Child Development is a non-profit organization that serves over 3,000 Cape Cod children and their families annually. The organization offers preschool and Head Start, after-school, child care, and Early Intervention programs.

Child Care Network

Operated by the Community Action Committee of Cape Cod and Islands, Inc., Child Care Network is a resource for working parents seeking high-quality, affordable, and reliable child care. The organization offers Information and Referral Services to parents looking for child care providers across the Cape, including Martha's Vineyard.

Public Schools on Cape Cod

The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce offers a complete list of Cape Cod's public school districts with direct links to each district's website. Many districts across the Cape are offering innovative programs to young families seeking child care opportunities - be sure to reach out to your town's school district for further information on available programs.

The Coalition for Children

Located and serving the Town of Falmouth, the Coalition for Children is a grant-funded education and support program providing for families with infants, toddlers, and school-age children. The Coalition for Children offers a large slate of play and learn groups, workshops, parenting classes, support groups, developmental screenings, community events, and comprehensive resources for local childcare providers on the Upper and Mid Cape.

YMCA Cape Cod

Cape Cod YMCA offers four child care locations across the Cape in Barnstable, Brewster, Falmouth, and Harwich - all providing accessible child care options offering educational and reliable care to young children.
