CCYP KICKED OFF MARCH WITH THREE CONNECT EVENTS

CCYP kicked off March with three Connect Events that together engaged more than 150 Cape Codders in the 1st week of this month!

This past Saturday, the Friends & Family Connect at Cape Cod Children's Museum brought our youngest Cape Codders and their parents together for a fun morning of exploring! Many thanks to the museum team for generously hosting CCYP, to our Lead Sponsor Mashpee Commons, and to Cape Cod Coffee for providing coffee and pastries.

On Tuesday, March 7th, Miller White Fine Arts hosted a CCYP Coffee Connect in their beautiful gallery which features 25 artists. Thank you to our Lead Sponsor Chatelain Real Estate. And many thanks to our featured Nonprofit Partner, Cape Community Orchestra. We had the pleasure of learning from CCO's conductor about the orchestra's history, mission, and upcoming performances.

Finally, on the first Thursday of March we had such a great time at the After Hours Connect at Pelham House Resort! We continued our annual tradition of partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands for our March After Hours Connect.

Our generous host Pelham House Resort let us take over the Apres Sea lounge for the evening and donated delicious appetizers. Attendees enjoyed curling on the indoor mini curling court, the outdoor fire pits, a cash bar, and lots of fun. The Pelham House team members did an outstanding job and contributed so much to the event’s success.

At the After Hours Connect, the BBBS team launched their March “Erase the Wait” mentor recruitment campaign and signed up nearly 20 new Bigs that evening! Their goal is recruiting 72 mentors for children on their waitlist by the end of this month. If you are interested, visit their website to learn more.
