Early Bird ticket pricing has now been extended to offer rates of $60 for CCYP Members and $75 for Non-Members through March 9. Ticket rates include the entire day of sessions and lunch. Beginning Tuesday, March 10, prices increase to the regular rate of $90 for all attendees. Tickets are available at www.capecodyoungprofessionals.org/summit. A one-of-a-kind, cross-industry professional conference, the Shape Your Cape Summit offers interactive, skill-building workshops, lively panel discussions on hot topics that impact the region’s young workforce, and opportunities to connect with professionals of all experience levels and industries. In this 5th Annual year of the Shape Your Cape Summit, CCYP will offer a combination of interactive workshops and panel discussions across a total of twelve sessions, with a focus on actionable solutions and real-world takeaways. Workshop sessions will cover professional development topics such as building a strong personal brand (Navigating Your Personal Brand with ChikMedia), becoming a better manager (Management Bootcamp), and “Unlocking Effective Communication in the Workplace.” Panel discussions will empower young workforce attendees to take their seat at the table for some of our Cape Cod’s most pressing issues, including economic and workforce development (Workforce Development on an Evolving Cape), cultivating women in leadership, and Town-based civic engagement (Mock Town Meeting). The full schedule of sessions for the Shape Your Cape Summit is available at www.capecodyoungprofessionals.org/summit.

CCYP is thrilled to welcome author Melody Warnick as the 2020 Shape Your Cape Summit Keynote Speaker. Melody will speak about the concept of “place attachment” and how to build a better community, economy, and sense of place by loving where you live. In her Keynote, Melody will share data, case studies, and stories to explain why place attachment matters and how to use it to build a better town (and be a happier person). Attendees will learn a few simple strategies to create economic growth, well-being, and more place-based joy in their community. A regular speaker on the topic of place, Melody also is a regular writer for Reader’s Digest, The Guardian, and O: The Oprah Magazine. Her book, This Is Where You Belong: Finding Home Wherever You Are, has been featured in the New York Times, Time Magazine, Fast Company, Psychology Today, and other media outlets.
